Good replacement for Gatorade mixI bought this product with a lot of previous experience with Clif Bar brand having eaten an almost obscene amount (lol) of Clif Bar energy bars over the years. I was looking for an athletic drink mix that was naturally based and without all the heavy sweeteners of those such as Gatorade Powerade and the like but also without the high cost of bottled alternatives like Vitamin Water Life Water etc. I was not disappointed with the Clif Shot though I wish Amazon carried more than just the Lemonade flavor through their website. All the other hits they show are just too expensive for this stuff. The only drawback I can see about the mix itself is that it doesn't immediately dissolve in water and you have to let it sit for about 15 minutes before you stop seeing floating clusters of the stuff suspended in the liquid. But the taste is good and it really does a good job at quenching your thirst after a workout or bike ride etc. I like to take it with me in my water bottle on rides and hikes. Highly recommend as an alternative to the typical "sports drink." - Chief Locowolf

Low carb electrolyte drink. Works great tastes awfulI have been using the Ultima sports drinks for about 3 years now. I commute 30km on my bikedaily in the heat swim and work with a trainer in the gym several times a week. I don't like hi-carb sports drinks and they make me groggy and queasy. I have had good results with the ultima. I use it in my bike bottles daily. I drink it before and after workouts. I sweat like a pig. In the height of summer I leave puddles on the ground when i stop at a red light. My own personal experience is that it helps with the fatigue and cramping. Look at the label and you can see that it is a good balance of electrolytes without the empty carbs.
That's the good news. The bad news? Taste. No way around it. The taste is awful. Raspberry is not bad. Orange is ok. The other flavors are simply wretched.
As noted by other reviewers it takes some effort to dissolve the powder. Don't expect instant gratification. If you just dump it into cold water you will end up with clumps of it. It is easier to dissolve it in some warm water with vigorous shaking. Then add ice / cold water to dilute it to the proper concentration. Even then it takes a lot of shaking/stirring to get most of it dissolved.
It would get 5 stars if it weren't for the taste and the difficulty dissolving the powder.

Great Product Horrible PriceSugarfree Red Bull is by far better than its sugar filled brother. With only 10 calories per can it tastes lighter and crisper than that "other" Red Bull. It can't replace the morning coffee but after a workout it can make you feel significantly better until you can replenish with food.
However the prices on Amazon are NOT a good deal. The only way it is a good deal is if you simply can't find the product anywhere. You can regularly find a 12 pack at any Wal-Mart or grocery store for $20. If you really need 24 then go buy two 12 packs for just over $40. Why would anyone in their right mind pay $10 more? But gas you say? Please if you spend $10 in gas to get to the store then by all means buy your Red Bull here. Anyway to reiterate great product-horrible Amazon prices.

not Bad!These drinks are a vast improvement over any of the protein powders that I've tried! There is a slight filmy aftertaste to them but no where near as unpalatable as powders. but I suggest you drink them as cold as possible for best flavor. They get a bit too sweet as they warm up and the filmy aftertaste becomes more pronounced. I struggle with getting enough protein so these drinks have been extremely helpful!

Perfect for coding...I personally am a connoisseur of energy drinks. I rely on caffeine for most of my projects at school and for late night coding sessions as well as marathon gaming. Although energy drinks can be considered a crutch it's a lifestyle decision that many many people embrace rather than attempt to avoid... I am one of these people.
That said Guru Energy is fairly cheap ($1.25USD/can) if you buy it here off Amazon it comes in the Redbull standard 8.3 fl/oz cans and is shipped in a suprisingly lightweight and compact case (compare this to Monster Rockstar or any other brand with standard 16 fl/oz cans).
The taste like Guru's website describes is very indescribable. It is very sharp and light with a medium amount of carbonation. The caffeine buzz is more "natural"... it has more of an upslope and downslope rather than a sudden cracked out (which is arguably awesome too in its own respect) then big crash sort of feeling. This is because the caffeine in Guru is derived from 125mg of Guaranine (Guarana Herb) rather than synthetically separated then added. There is no mention about how much of the 125mg of Guaranine is real caffeine but since Red Bull checks in at 80mg / 8.3oz it seems that Guru is in pretty good shape.
I think a particular good feature of Guru is that it uses cane sugar rather than high fructose corn syrup. I appriciate a good quality soda particularly microbrew colas and they often exclusively contain cane sugar.
So in summary this energy drink is farily cheap good buzz all natural and great for coding gaming or studying.

TRIED & TRUEEnsure Plus has been my primary source of nutrition for five years now following mouth cancer surgery. I still have a PEG tube but fortunately am able to drink my nutrition. I have tried every liquid supplement on the market. I still do not tire of my favorite vanilla. Their chocolate is also the best chocolate on the market. The creaminess and the depth of flavoring cannot be beat. Try freezing in ice cube trays then blending with a couple of real ice cubes in a blender for a terrific "milkshake." By still having a PEG tube this is a bonafide prescription which is delivered to my home monthly.

Good productMy favorite electrolyte drink. If you are not looking for a carb or protein loaded drink this is the way to go. It is a fluid replenisher that contains an all natural sweetener. It is loaded with electrolytes and vitamins. The perfect sport drink for the kids. The lemonade flavor tastes great. I tried strawberry-banana and was not too pleased with it.
I usually carry two 10oz bottles with me in a 2 hour run. If you are a runner you have to take in your energy from another source like gels or shots because the amount of carbs provided is not enough. The good news is that it is good for the whole family if you live in a hot weather and you spend most of the day sweating.

A winner!I use all the products in the Super-C series and so I will give a review of them all.
Of all the variants the best tasting are Bone & Joint Immunize and Energy. Slender taste okay and Sleep is not that great.
BUT
They all appear to have the effect they promise - which is far more than one can say about many of the "functional beverages" one can purchase.
Although not that great in taste (in my subjective opinion) SLEEP has a really good effect and I could feel that it made me more able to fall asleep. That is quite significant as I suffer from insomnia very often.
BONE&JOINT - which tastes GREAT - actually made my otherwise protesting knees feel good again if I drank the mix about 8-10 hours before heading for the gym.
ENERGY too is effective although the effect is just as subtle and unobtrusive as it promises. This is good unless you want a "burn hot but burn fast" effect which tend to result in a drastic drop in energy one's you settle down again.
As for IMMUNIZE and SLENDER there effects are supposed to occur much more "in the background" - supporting processes in the body without changing them in any way that causes a direct tangible and short-term effect one can feel. But looking at the ingredients it would seem that they do what they are supposed to.
A note should be added to those watching calories as it is easy to miss the fact that SLENDER actually do contain calories while the others do not (per serving that is).
Also and this is not so much critique (perhaps constructive) as suggestion to the producer it would be good if the nutritional information listed the quantities of the vitamins minerals and other effective ingredients instead of just the percentage of suggested daily value. It is difficult for people who for some reason try to calculate daily intake of such ingredients when it does not say how much of them are in each serving.
But this is a great series of drink mixes. Mixes easily does what it says tastes great (except for one in my opinion) and contains nothing one can feel guilty about

Works well not the most convenient formI tried a fair number of bogus products over the years until I found Cheers tablets which worked great and were very convenient. Then Cheers changed their formula and started pushing a liquid form which I disliked. That's when Drinkin' Mate came along. I was very skeptical of the whole backstory behind this guava extract product but I tried it and it really works. It's a little hard to find the same package sizes in stock at any given time but I've re-ordered several times settling for whichever package is available at the time. Although the effervescent tablets are not as convenient to use as the Cheer tablets which I could just pop while drinking the best things about Drinkin' Mate are that one tablet covers me for the whole night (with Cheers the more you drank the more tablets you would need to take) and that Drinkin' Mate works even if you've been drinking for hours before you take Drinkin' Mate (with Cheers you had to take it before you started or soon after you started).
Drinkin' Mate isn't total absolute salvation; I've managed to overdo tequila shots to the point where I still woke up with a splitting headache despite Drinkin' Mate but I can easily offset a half-dozen cocktails or a 6-pack of beer with Drinkin' Mate and be fresh and alert the next morning.
